Colloque Recherche sur les parcs suisses 2019 - présentations en ligne!

140 participants ont suivi les différentes présentations des domaines de l'acceptation, de la dimension sociale, de la biodiversité, de la valorisation et de la gouvernance et ont contribué par leurs discussions à un échange vivant entre chercheurs et praticiens dans le domaine de la recherche sur les parcs suisses.

Research networks as a pathway to achieving sustainability

International Conference of SUDAC – swissuniversities Development and Cooperation Network and KFPE. The focus was placed on research partnerships in and with the Global South. With its programmes Consortia for Education and Research (COFERs) and Clusters of Cooperation in the Global South (CLOC), swissuniversities provides important instruments to foster these research partnerships.

Vrije Universiteit Brussel - PhD Scholarship for the osteological study of late medieval and early modern human bone collection

Make-Up of the City is an Interdisciplinary Research Project funded by the Research Council of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). Bringing together historians, archaeologists, geochemists and anatomists, the project wants to gain new insights into the composition and functioning of urban societies in the pre-modern Low Countries. It focuses on a late medieval and early modern parish cemetery in the Flemish city of Ieper, which was one of the largest industrial centres in Europe during the thirteenth and early fourteenth centuries.

Knowledge for development platform

The r4d programme launched its new Knowledge for Development platform, featuring selected communication products from r4d projects, the r4d syntheses and own content. It disseminates evidence-based and tailor-made research information for an interested public, researchers as well as policy-makers and media.

In 2025, the 'Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment' (DUNE) will be launched in the north of the USA, with which physicists want to learn more about neutrino - a still mysterious elementary particle. An important component of the DUNE experiment is currently being prepared by scientists from the University of Bern.

Et le monde scientifique est également sur la sellette: comme le demande le premier rapport sur le développement durable dans le monde, la recherche visant des solutions concrètes doit être intensifiée. À travers une initiative, la SCNAT souhaite donc renforcer la recherche en développement durable en Suisse.
