La plateforme MAP comprend des sociétés spécialisées et des organes scientifiques dans les disciplines des mathématiques, de l'astronomie et de la physique. Elle soutient les activités de ces organisations et coordonne et promeut la recherche et l'éducation en mathématiques, astronomie et physique.

Assemblée plénière

Le Plénum MAP regroupe tous les représentants des sociétés membres et des groupes de travail (commissions et comités nationaux). Il se réunit deux fois par an. Chaque session est accompagnée d'une présentation sur les nouvelles infrastructures de recherche ou des développements marquants dans les domaines des mathématiques, de la physique et de l'astronomie.
